358. Slouchy Sunday

Most people who have been around me long enough know that pants usually aren't a go-to for me, but for some reason I am super into these strange slouchy pant-things from Sparkle & Fade. I've always been secretly intrigued by the "boyfriend jeans" look, so I feel like this is my little step towards that. Semi-slouchy, semi-not...they are just strange enough to warrant a confused look from my brother when he saw me today--always a sure sign that it is going to be a Man Repeller day ;P And the sneakers are another favorite from Tokyo with the elevated soles, could not get enough of those guys over there !

So very excited to be interning at the photo department of Nylon mag this fall! Nothing better than finishing classes on Wednesdays and heading into the city for some SoHo salvation :) Many more pics and posts to come this semester from my two cities!

Some Tokyo-inspired stuff happening here--I got the leather backpack in Harajuku after seeing so many cool girls rocking low-hanging backpacks, snapback hats, and chunky shoes. These black sneakers make me laugh because I can't tell if they are the coolest shoes I own or the ugliest :P They are another Tokyo purchase, from Shibuya 109. And while I love me some dreamy pastels, this forest green & neon yellow graphic sweater is definitely a new favorite, from Topshop NYC.

352. Updates

Say hi to my NEW CAMERA! :D

After an overwhelming trip to B&H yesterday, I successfully made it out alive with some much-needed new photo equipment! :):) I had been using the same camera for the past 4 years now and it definitely ran its course, so I am feeling very re-energized and re-inspired about photography and the blawg right now!

I'm also going to start putting up more personal-style posts on here and blend the blog a little more between fashion & photography, so get ready! Gotta work at getting my power blog on ;P I also added some social media icons to the sidebar, so help a gurl out and follow me on instagram, twitter, tumblr, etc! (Facebook page to come soonish... once I get over my fear of making one :P) So anyway, sorry for the slow posts recently, but lots of fun things to come soon!
