Officially on winter break now! Just got home today and am very happy to lay low for a little bit until the fam takes a trip to VIENNA for new years!! Soooo stinkin' excited for that and especially can't wait to take pics and blog about it ;) For now though, here are some hazy-dayz inspiration pics !
SO EXCITED! Just got cast as Lucinda, one of Cinderella's evil step-sisters, in a production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods going up at school in April!!! YAY--such an amazing show that intertwines Grimm's fairy tales like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Jack and the Beanstalk to see what happens after their "happily-ever-afters." Can't wait to have fun playing a mean gUrl, because, ya know, that IS me in real life after all ;P Anyways, updates to come of course throughout the process!

I was walking back from the library pretty late the other night and even though it was absolutely FREEZING out, I couldn't help myself from getting distracted and taking pictures since I happened to have my camera with me, there was no one around, and it was just so magical out!! Always worth it ;)
Ha OKAY, so this post is a little different than my usual ones, but it's still pretty gr8. So for my Italian class we had to make a final video project on Boccaccio's "Andreuccio da Perugia" (which is apparently an assignment that lots of Intro Italian classes have to do)--so we had a lot of fun with it and I definitely had WAY too much fun editing weird/dramatic sound effects into it and pretending like I knew what I was saying the whole time... O;) So anyways, if anyone is interested at ALL, here's it is. CIAO! :D
And, at the very least, me (attempting) to speak Italian is always a never-ending source of lols that my class and fam can attest to :P
(Here's a basic (ridiculous) storyline since there are no subtitles: Man comes to Napoli to buy horses, lady sees that he has a lot of money so pretends to be his long lost sister and brings him back to her house only to lock him out and steal his money after he falls into a hole that people use for the bathroom (?!!). Then he runs into two bad guys who who make him wash off in a well then go to a tomb and try to steal a ruby. He ends up going into the well and finding the ruby but keeps it for himself and then goes back to his home. END!)
Here is my second set of photographs for the YDN Weekend Blog! One of my digital photography TAs used the word "saccharine" to describe some of my photos at my first critique this semester, and from then on I just fell in love with the word. Enjoy the pics!
Went on a much needed photo-excursion today to a little beach area about 10 minutes away from campus--it was SO beautiful outside and such a great day for pics :D Who knew December in CT could look so summery?! I can dig it!
