160. Mad Girl's Love Song

Mad Girl's Love Song
Sylvia Plath

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

  1. Hi Jen! First of all, thank you! I won an award for one of my photographs just last year and just fell out of touch after I got busy with school and life. This summer I said I would get back into it and after finding your blog and seeing how much you've done, I now have the motivation to continue photography for the rest of my life! Second, you're amazing!! How do some of your pictures remain focused on only 1 or 2 things in front of the camera and then the whole background and the insignificant objects are not focused but still visible and shapes can be made out??! You're at Yale University right? Hello! My dream school! Is it possible for you to major in photography? Because I would totally try to double major then!! Was your resume just like loaded up with art awards and stuff?? Your response would mean so much to me! I tried to tweet you on Twitter (my name is Vanilla, no not kidding) but what with the numeric limit and all... Anyways, please keep doing your blog and everything. You're my role model. Im sure a lot of people probably tell you that all the time but I really mean it! Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Vanilla!! Wow, that was the nicest comment I've ever gotten on here, thank you so much! Everything you said really means a lot to me and reminds me why I love keeping up this blog! I am SO happy to hear that you are getting back into photography and I'd love to see some of your stuff, definitely going to be following your blog! :) I'd actually love to send you a longer message via facebook or email or something, do you want to email me at jen.mulrow@gmail.com so I have your email address (I don't want you to have to write it in a comment) or just facebook me (Jen Mulrow)? Whatever's better for you--thanks so much again and can't wait to talk more! xo
